Agree the boundaries, then review the evidence.

  1. Scope

Agree the systems, permissions, review coverage, timing and expected outputs before work begins.

  2. Review

Carry out the agreed checks and document the evidence.

  3. Findings

Explain the issues and priorities, with recommended next steps.

  4. Remediation, when agreed

Make approved changes or support your existing team in addressing findings.

  5. Validation, when agreed

Check completed fixes and record what remains unresolved or outside coverage.

04 Before you enquire

Common questions.

What determines the cost and timing?
The number of systems, review depth, available access, documentation and any remediation or retesting affect the scope. Share your setup and concerns so we can discuss deliverables and milestones.
What information or access do you need?
Start with the website or application, its platform, your concerns and the review you need. Any accounts or technical access are agreed during scoping. Access arrangements should use a suitable secure handover; do not put passwords or sensitive findings in the initial enquiry.
Will a review disrupt our live site?
Review techniques, timing and any potential impact are agreed before work begins. Where a check could affect the live service, its approval and scheduling form part of the scope.
Can you fix what you find?
Remediation can be agreed as part of the engagement or handled by your existing provider. Retesting coverage and any follow-up work are confirmed in the scope.
Do you perform full penetration testing?
The services described here focus on scoped reviews, configuration, hardening and advisory. If you need a full penetration test, tell us the requirement so coverage and suitability can be discussed before any commitment.
How are findings shared, and is ongoing support available?
Report recipients, the sharing method and handling arrangements are agreed before the review. Ongoing advisory, maintenance or follow-up work can be discussed separately, including scope and recurring costs.
