Privacy Policy
Last updated
This policy explains what personal information Jasbasoft collects through this website and how it is handled. The date above shows the latest website revision.
What we collect
- Information you submit through forms: name, email, company and the content of your enquiry or project enquiry.
- Cart product identifiers stored in your browser. Development order records and demo access status are retained in browser session storage.
- Basic technical data needed to operate and secure the site (such as server logs).
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry or deliver the service you requested.
- To retain your product selection and show local development order previews.
- To operate, secure and improve the website.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with service providers needed to operate the site and communications (for example email delivery), under appropriate safeguards.
Retention
Enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting engagement, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. Depending on your location (including the EU/UK and other jurisdictions), additional statutory rights may apply.
Browser storage and embedded maps
The cart stores selected product identifiers in local browser storage. Demonstration orders and account-preview status use session storage. Test sign-in and recovery addresses are not saved by these previews or sent to an account service. Clearing browser storage removes the local cart; closing the session ends access to demonstration records.
The Contact page shows a Google map of the Tamso area. The map is loaded from Google when that page opens, so Google receives your IP address and basic browser information and handles them under its own privacy policy. Contact and project forms send your message to us by email, and a copy is kept in the site administration area so that no enquiry is lost.
Prices by location. To show prices in the right currency, the site works out which country you are visiting from, using your IP address. When our country database is installed this happens on our own server; until then your IP address is sent once to ipinfo.io, which returns only the country. The result (GHS or USD, not your address or country) is kept in a cookie called jb_geo_currency for up to 7 days.
