Case study Church & community

Gofamint Ghana

Project overview

Gofamint Ghana is a branch of The Gospel Faith Mission International, with its headquarters at Atonsu-Bokuro in Kumasi and assemblies in the Ashanti and Greater Accra regions. The website welcomes newcomers, serves members and keeps people connected between services.

Challenge

A church website has to answer practical questions quickly: which assembly is nearest, when services start, what a first visit is like and how to reach someone for prayer. Personal requests also need to be handled with care.

Approach

Structure

After the welcome, the home page sets out the church’s mission, its service times and location, upcoming events and ministries, with buttons to join a Sunday service or watch live. Ministries, media and events each have their own pages.

Design

The home page opens on congregation photography under a purple and red gradient; inner pages share a navy title banner, and serif headings and warm cream sections run through the site.

Visitor journeys

Find a Church searches the assemblies by keyword, region and district. Plan Your Visit takes three steps: choose a service, say who is coming, and the welcome team prepares.

Care with requests

The prayer request form offers seven prayer categories and lets people submit anonymously, keep a request confidential and ask for pastoral follow-up.

What the site does

A newcomer can go from the home page to a planned first visit in a few steps, and anyone can find an assembly, follow events, watch a service live or send a prayer request.
